Sunspots on car

I've heard that the best way to remove sunspots from paintwork on your car is by using oven cleaner. Is that correct?

No, with a capital N. Oven cleaner can damage paint badly and very quickly, according to our paint specialist, Graeme Cuthbert. The best way to treat it is to wash it off immediately that you suspect sunscreen has come into contact with your car's paint. If you leave it for a day or more you will have quite a job to get rid of it. One way to deal with it is to get a car detailer to clean the surface with a clay bar, then buff and polish it.
