Asked by Gillie Gough
I have been a loyal Subaru Forester driver for the past 10 years but I have to replace it. I am loath to replace it with anything other than a newer version but I'd like some advice about worthy substitutes. I am now retired so most of my driving is on and off-road, driving to Melbourne regularly and hopefully more opportunities to go bush bashing and camping. I am not interested in heavy-duty four-wheel driving but the all-wheel drive of the Forester has given me the confidence to have a bit of a go because I know it will get me out of most places.

29 Dec 2014If you like the Forester, which gets The Tick from me, there is no reason not to go again. If you want something to compare so you're sure, test drive the Mazda CX-5.
