Replacement for a Hyundai ix35

I had been looking for a replacement for my Hyundai ix35 Highlander diesel and assessing all the similar-sized cars on the market, including another ix35. After comparing them all I bought a latest-model Subaru Forester auto diesel as I found this to be of superior build quality and design than the others I tested and at the same price as an ix35. But the best thing I discovered is this was the only unit I tested on which the AM radio worked properly to such an extent that I was getting Sydney radio stations nearly at Bathurst. This may not sound like a big deal but I live in the country and had been fighting Hyundai for four years over the radio. This seems to be a problem with a lot of manufacturers and the excuses border on the bizarre, but if Subaru can do it why can't the rest?
