Mazda CX-9 wind noise

From the moment I drove our Mazda CX9 off the lot a couple of months ago there has been excessive wind noise that appears to come from the driver's side mirror. We did not notice the noise during our test drives. The dealer says it is a fault with the design of the mirror, and that we have to simply live with it, they even went so far as to tell us to turn the radio up. Our efforts to talk to Mazda have come to nothing. I am disappointed that this problem has occurred and that neither the dealer nor Mazda seem concerned about it. Has anyone else has had a similar problem?
