Toyota Corolla: LPG Conversion

Can I have my 2002 Toyota Corolla fitted with an LPG system? Is it mandatory to fit the newer, more expensive injection system because of the Corolla's plastic manifold, or would it is possible to fit the slightly older gas system that isn't so hard on the pocket?

You can fit LPG to your Corolla, but it is recommended that you use an injection system because of the risk of backfiring with the older system and the damage that could cause to the plastic intake manifold.
