Leaking information

I HAVE a 1998 Mitsubishi Magna TF and on three occasions petrol has leaked a couple of days after filling up. I always stop on the first ``click'', and I'd done 80, 10 & 4km since filling on those occasions. Is this a problem with this model?

IT'S NOT a problem mechanics are familiar with but they say one of the vent hoses on the tank may be blocked, cracked, or even dislodged.
