Can you hep with a gearbox problem I have with my 2012 Holden Cruze diesel? When changing from first to second it revs out as if it selects neutral, then when I take my foot off the accelerator it selects the next gear. My dealer says it is normal. I understand how cars should work and I am sure this is not normal. Is this a problem with the Cruze and how it can be rectified?
The gearbox is a known problem in the Cruze and we've helped a number of people get a replacement. Go direct to Holden and push hard, as they are replacing automatics but also asking owners to maintain confidentiality.
