Kia stop light switch

Kia contacted me following your report in Carsguide (September 27) and suggested I have my dealer check the stability controI. That was done early in October and the stability control was found to be OK, but the stop light switch was out of adjustment and that could have been the culprit. The "delay" in this stop light switch can cause a computer malfunction. Kia did a previous recall on these faulty switches. I am now to monitor future engine performance, and Kia will take further action if required. Once again Many Thanks.
