One week after buying a new top-of-the-range Holden Cruze in June the steering system locked while the car was parked. The salesman came and got us going and we took it back to the dealership to have it re-programmed. All was well for a month until last week when the steering was locked while the car was in our garage. The dealer has been unable to rectify the problem so far. Have I bought a lemon or is it just a minor fault?
So far I would say it's a frustrating fault, but the fact that the dealer can't fix it is of concern. If after being fixed this time if it occurs again then I would say you have cause to call it a lemon and demand Holden comes to the party with some form of compensation.
