I bought a 2005 Ford Territory TS seven years ago for my retirement. At a recent service, at just under 70,000 km, I was advised that both front diff bushes were split and repairs would be approximately $800. I contacted Ford customer service about recovering the cost, but was denied. I believe similar problems have been reported in your column previously and you've had previous correspondence on problems with the rear axle. Have there been any further reports from your readers to this problem?
It's a common problem with the Territory and to my knowledge Ford hasn't come to the party with the cost of repairs, unlike the front ball joints when they did provide some relief for owners.
