When I responded to a recall notice to have the dust covers in my 2007 Ford Territory Ghia replaced at Ford's expense I was advised that the rear diff bushes were cracked and required replacement at an approximate cost of $750. I was advised that as the vehicle was out of warranty the company would not help me, there was also talk about loyalty to Ford, which I took to be a reference to my having the 60,000 km service not done by Ford. I do not believe I am unreasonable in my expectation of assistance from Ford. I expected that Ford would agree to undertake the cost, or the very least offer to pay part of the repair cost.
Cracked bushes on the rear diff of the early Territory is a common problem, so common that I would expect Ford to come to the party to pay at least part of the cost of repairs. I would continue to press your claim against Ford.
