Falcon Forte indictors

Whenever I wash my parents? 1998 Ford Falcon Forte the indicators seem to go really slowly and nearly stall. Is this due to the wash or something more sinister?

It’s probably due to a connection getting wet while you’re washing it; I doubt it’s anything to be too concerned about.
