I recently had an external transmission cooler fitted to my non- turbo automatic BA Falcon Ute and I reckon the power has increased by about 10 percent. Could this be true, or is it just wishful thinking? The mechanic who fitted it could not confirm or deny it without doing a dyno test, which I am not keen to do!
There's no reason to believe adding a cooler would increase the performance. I wouldn't bother wasting your money on a test.
