Nissan X-Trail: Crankshaft timing sensor

HAVE you heard of any problems with the crankshaft timing sensor on the Nissan X-Trail? I'm on my third and when they fail the motor just stops, which can make it dangerous. My first one cut out on the highway when I was doing 100km/h, the last one failed as I was coming down a mountain and approaching a hairpin bend.
