Collapsed converter on Ford Territory

Has there been many issues regarding collapsed or blocked catalytic converters on the Territory? My Territory is almost undriveable, it won't rev past 3500 rpm, and I believe that the exhaust may be blocked. This follows on from a faulty O2 sensor that resulted in an engine rich fault code. Not even my mechanic has been able to figure it out yet.

It's likely that the converter has collapsed inside and is partially blocking the exhaust. It's not too common, but it does happen, and not just with Fords. The answer is to fit a new converter.
