    Nissan Nissan Advice Nissan 300ZX Nissan 300ZX Advice Nissan 300ZX 1995
    WILL a Nissan 350Z six-speed gearbox fit easily into a 1995 V6 300ZX? I have a Steve Millen Special with an automatic transmission and I'd like a little more economy and a sportier feel. Can you suggest a rough price and, if possible, someone who could do the transfer? Would my nearest Nissan dealer be a good path to pursue? I don't want to sell the car and buy a manual, which would probably be an easier option.

    I CAN'T say for sure that the 350Z six-speed gearbox would fit, but I reckon it could be done. You need to consult a Nissan specialist, one who knows both cars intimately, and I doubt a Nissan dealer could or would help you in that regard. You could start by contacting Millen's company at www.stillen.com and asking them for advice.
