Can't predict the future

I'M LOOKING for a medium-sized family car that I plan to keep for at least five to 10 years, and have a budget of $10,000 to $17,000. The car I would like is a Ford Falcon XR6 sports automatic with LPG. Is it a good family car? Which is the best model? Will there be any problems with it in the future?

FOR that money you're looking at a BA model, which will make a fine family car, but it's impossible to say what problems you might encounter in the period you plan to keep it. The BA suffered from fairly average build quality, but any problems should have surfaced by now.
