Bubbling bonnet on 05 Ascent

I've recently noticed the paint on the bonnet of my red 2005 Toyota Corolla Ascent appears to be bubbling up, and there are pale, rough patches on the roof and boot and the clear on the front bumper is peeling off. I'm wondering if you've had similar queries and if this is a problem for any other Toyota owners. It's not an ancient car and I'm absolutely dumbfounded as to why this is happening.

Red is one of the worst colours for this sort of problem, it might look great, but it's a colour to be avoided. There's not much you can do about it, other than repainting the affected areas. It could be worth consulting a paint specialist, such as Graeme Cuthbert (0422 444 335) and get an opinion on what action you cold take to fix the problem.
