Ask Smithy Xtra Ford FG XR6 paint problem

I have recently purchased a secondhand 2009 FG XR6 sedan in Seduce, which has done 22,000 km and is still under the factory warranty. I have noticed that the clear coat on the paint is chipping and there also seems to be contaminates in the paint. Has there been a problem with paint quality with the FG and would this be something the warranty would cover?
