Cadillac CT5

The Cadillac CT5 was launched in 2019 as a mid-size luxury sedan to replace the CTS. Built on the GM Alpha platform, it was designed to compete with European rivals while offering more interior space than its predecessor. The CT5 debuted with a choice of turbocharged four-cylinder and V6 engines, with rear- and all-wheel drive options.

In 2020 the Cadillac CT5 expanded with the high-performance CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing models, which brought supercharged V8 power and track-focused upgrades. The Blackwing in particular positioned itself as the brand’s performance flagship. A major update arrived in 2023, with refreshed styling, a larger touchscreen and improved driver assistance technology, keeping the sedan competitive in a shrinking market segment.

By 2025 the Cadillac CT5 remains one of the brand’s core sedans in North America and China, though it is not officially sold in Australia. It continues to serve buyers looking for a traditional luxury sedan alternative to SUVs.
