This week's Torquing Heads involves another very yellow Audi, this time the Audi Q2 2.0 TDI quattro. That's a bit of a mouthful, but it's an important car for the German manufacturer, landing in the (growing) war zone that is the mini-SUV segment.
The 2.0 TDI is the current flagship of the two car range, stretching mini-SUV pricing to the high $40k mark, before options.
Nikki is smack-bang in Audi's sights - she's a very busy mum and the Q2 is expected to be the second car in many of the households that buy one. As a result, it's pretty funky. The interior might be based on the A3's but there are a few design flourishes like the backlit perforated aluminium across the dash. On the outside it's Audi's new polygonal styling, which means an Audi like no other. Subtly, of course.
