It would seem the transmission has somehow been damaged. Get under and have a look to see where the leak is coming from, and hopefully you will see damage that is causing the leak. It would appear you’ve got a good claim against VW for repairing the car, even though the warranty has expired. Remember, the car is still covered by the statutory warranty under local law.
