Farizon is the commercial EV arm of Geely, launched in 2016 to focus on electric vans, trucks and utes. It’s part of a broader push by the Chinese carmaker to decarbonise transport and challenge diesel’s dominance in light and heavy commercial segments.

The brand made headlines in 2022 with its futuristic SuperVAN concept, showing what an electric work vehicle could be. Farizon also rolled out the E200S and E5 light trucks in China, aimed at last-mile delivery fleets. It’s building a reputation for tech-forward interiors, practical payloads and battery-swap capability in select models.

Farizon has now arrived in Australia, with Geely’s growing interest in global markets putting it on the radar here. With demand rising for electric utes and vans, particularly in fleet use, Farizon could become a serious contender.
