To put a Wolfsburg badge on a Volkswagen tends to mean the German company means business. And in the Touareg's case you can choose between a V6 or V8 turbodiesel, with lots of blacked-out styling, stacks of gear and a driving experience few other mainstream brands can get close to. They also don't get close to the price or surprise you as often.
