Broadmeadows' baby droptop arrived at the same time as the Mazda MX-5 and, thanks to sub-standard quality, also bombed in the USA.
But a born-again coupe, more like the gutsy Euro Capri of the '70s and '80s, is coming as a spin-off from the Focus and promises ST-style punch in a good looking two-door body from 2014 priced at less than $30,000.
