My old (2003) Mitsubishi Triton petrol V6 4x2 will crank over but that’s it. I’ve checked the basics to no avail but am wondering (before spending money) whether this engine is prone to any problems. Also, I can’t get it into fifth gear without a growing effort. From the history of the previous owner and myself, services have been regularly done. Is it time to bid farewell and move on?
