The LDV Deliver 9 van is a large vehicle made for hard work. It isn't your average model, with a range of wheelbase and height choices, a cab-chassis model, and two different mini bus examples for sale. We drove the version LDV expects to sell a lot of: the Long Wheel Base Mid Roof model, which is automatic only and costs less than forty grand drive-away for ABN holders. That's less than a HiAce!

It's impressive enough to discover that a whopping seven-seat SUV like this LDV D90 can be had for under $44,000, but when you realise that it's the Executive, top-line model, it really catches your eye. Can it possibly be as good as cars from bigger, better-known brands like Holden and Ford? We did a full family test to find out.

This particular model - the Trailrider - has a distinctly Aussie flavour to it, having had its suspension retuned by local heroes Walkinshaw. Yep, the same people that've been tuning Commodores for years!
