The next-generation Nissan Patrol, the Y63, is due in Australia before the end of 2025, but in the meantime Nissan has upgraded the current-generation Patrol in an attempt to address criticisms of the multimedia system and old-style interior.Otherwise there have been no performance upgrades, and so, this much-loved 4WD wagon remains largely unchanged for now, which is exactly what some fans want.

Nissan Australia and Premcar have given the legendary Patrol 4WD wagon the Warrior treatment.The Patrol Warrior has upgraded Aussie-tuned suspension, a Warrior-specific wheel-and-tyre package, a bi-modal exhaust system, and a payload increase to 736kg - but there are no power and torque increases.So, is this lifted and loaded 4WD wagon worth your attention?

In contrast to the regular Nissan Y62 Patrol, the Warrior version harks back to earlier models in being much more off-road focused, thanks to vehicle engineering firm, Premcar of Melbourne. Like the popular Navara Warrior, the 4WD wagon gains upgraded suspension, wheels, body protection and clearances, along with some subtle visual and interior changes. Result? This is the best Y62 Patrol ever.
