The compact SUV has been an Australian favourite since it arrived, despite a premium price against Korean contenders, and is not getting its first facelift.It's not as big in the makeover stakes as the Passat, which gets a major tweak later this month, and the only real signs of change are around the nose and tail. Latest pictures from Carparazzi have the front-end disguise that points to a major change, as well as a revision around the rear end.Carparazzi sources say the updated Tiguan will pick up the new Volkswagen family grille and cleaner lines around the lamps, which are   expected to include LED running lights for the first time.Engines are expected to be much the same as today, but with efficiency improvements for reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
