Hyundai's first real tilt at a light SUV is the Venue - a boxy little crossover with character, space and dynamic agility built in. It's also easy to get in and out of, well made, surprisingly spacious and effortless to operate, offering light steering, a tight turning circle and plenty of low-down throttle response. But the competition is fierce and in a couple of ways the Venue falls short.
