    SOME cars are more prone to breaking drive shafts. The Ferrari's shaft takes a pounding from unsympathetic drivers who load and unload them while driving without thought to the durability of essential components. Other cars may have a design fault and a point of high stress, which eventually results in failure. Contact a Ferrari specialist or club. They may have a beefed-up drive shaft available.
