Just arrived - Now available at Collectable Classics is a car you may not have heard of, the 1949 Simca 8 1200 Berline. Under the ownership of Fiat, the Simca 8 was produced between 1937 and 1951, with 112,363 cars built. Driven by a 1221cc 4-cylinder Fiat motor, the Simca's 4-speed manual gearbox had syncromesh on the top two ratios. What makes these cars stand out is their 4-door pillarless saloon styling. With the suicide doors on the rear, the cabin can be opened right up on either side of the vehicle. This particular car is a very nice example.
