2021 Suzuki Swift 100 Year Anniversary Edition pricing and specs detailed: MG3, Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Yaris and Mazda 2 rival celebrates

The Swift is available in 100 Year Anniversary Edition guise for a limited time.

Suzuki Australia will release a limited edition of the Swift light hatchback on April 1, with the aptly named 100 Year Anniversary Edition marking a century and change since the Japanese brand was officially established.

Based on the Swift’s CVT-equipped GL Navigator variant (from $19,990 plus on-road costs), the 100 Year Anniversary Edition is limited to 100 examples and priced at $24,990 driveaway.

For the extra spend, the 100 Year Anniversary Edition adds a carbon-fibre-style decal to the front bumper, black side stripes, a black roof spoiler and a specific rear badge.

The 100 Year Anniversary Edition is offered in one of two exclusive two-tone paintwork options: Burning Red with Super Black, or Speedy Blue with Super Black.

For reference, a 66kW/120Nm 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine powers the 100 Year Anniversary Edition, with drive sent to the front wheels.

The 100 Year Anniversary Edition adds black side stripes, a black roof spoiler and a specific rear badge.

As reported, the wider Swift range received a facelift last September, with the GL Navigator gaining auto-up/down windows and a digital speedometer at the time.

The MG3, Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Yaris and Mazda2 rival otherwise got a new grille, front bumper and alloy wheels at the time.
