I need a car to tow a small boat on to the beach, would a small AWD be a capable, like a Suzuki Vitara or Mazda CX5, or do I need something that has high and low range such as a Toyota Hilux?
Answered by CarsGuide
13 Sep 2019It depends somewhat on the condition of the sand. If it’s well packed and solid all-wheel drive would suffice, but I wouldn’t rely on it on loose, deep sand. For that I would want a proper four-wheel drive.
