I AM an elderly but fit driver who has just received a new 10-year licence and I want to buy a new car. I can afford it, if I can sell my current car for the price I want. It's a 1991 Suzuki Swift 1.6-litre auto which has done just 25,000km and is in perfect condition. I don't want to advertise it because I can't hear very well on the phone, so I would prefer to find a way to sell it without advertising. I am also keen to get $6000-$7000 for it.
I'M SURE your car would make a great buy for a young driver. Advertising your car is the best way of selling it. Perhaps you could ask a friend if you could use their phone number so they could answer the calls. I assume your car is a GLX model, which would normally be worth about $5500, but because it's in such good condition you could well get your asking price.
