We have had a problem with our 2001 Suzuki Ignis since last Christmas. We thought we had bad fuel, as it was coughing and not idling properly. We have had it serviced and the ignition coils have been replaced. Now it drives fine, but once you do around 40 km it will start chugging and then just stop. We only have to wait about three minutes and it will start again and drive perfectly. No one can tell us what the problem is. Any ideas would be appreciated.

22 Mar 2011I would suggest it’s running out of fuel. Have the fuel pump checked.
