The dash on my 2005 Nissan Patrol is bubbled. I took it to my dealer to have it inspected and a submission was then forwarded to Nissan for consideration. Recently I received notification rejecting my claim because of the age of the car. I subsequently phoned Nissan's Customer Service Centre, but was told that the original decision stood even though other Patrols of the same vintage may have been rectified. What can I do, I feel Nissan's response is unacceptable?
You could try going further up the Nissan food chain in the hope of finding someone who might have more compassion for your situation. You could also consult your state government consumer affairs people for their advice. The problem you have is that your vehicle is now going on eight years old and well out of warranty.
