I have had two Nissan Pathfinders and between the two of them I have done close to 600,000 km. I had to replace one gearbox, but I have been very happy with them for the most part. I am looking at buying the new turbo diesel but have been told they have an overheating problem. Is there any truth in this rumour?
Our Nissan specialist Jerry Newman services a dozen or more turbo diesel Pathfinders and he hasn’t seen any with overheating problems. The only issues he has seen are related to the variable build quality coming out of the plant in Spain, and they’re usually rattles and squeaks etc.
