Long-lasting Honda Jazz

I'm bemused to read the litany of expensive faults in inexpensive cars as described in Roadside Assist. I bought my Honda Jazz new in 2003 and it has now done 400,000km with the engine and clutch untouched. The body is tight, it performs as new and petrol consumption has never exceeded 6.0L/100km. The only problem of any significance has been wheel bearings long ago, replaced under warranty, suggesting a design fault that is now corrected. The colour is fading from red to pink as the car is not garaged, which makes me think of disposing of it, but it is going too well to justify this.

You made a good choice and the new Jazz looks to be back to the same standard.
