Kia Rio 2019: Problems with sports shift

I have a 2019 Kia Rio and I am having problems with the sports shift on the 6-speed auto. It works fine on upshift but would not work on downshift without pushing down hard on the lever.

You’re possibly trying to downshift at a speed that’s higher than it was designed to do. Try downshifting at a lower engine speed.
