IN THE past month we have had to jump-start our 2009 VE Commodore several times, as many as eight times in a day. Our dealer told us that many people have this same problem and Holden are looking into it. We were told to take the key out of the ignition when we stop the car because this drains the power even if the accessories are not switched on. Holden told me that because of the large technology in the car it drains more battery power and every car that has had this same problem all have different circumstances. You would think if Holden made a car with larger technology, they would create a battery that could cope with it. I have never been so disappointed about a new car doing this -- it's barely six months old. Have you heard of any more of these problems?
YES we have had other complaints, but yours is the first we have had for some time. A Holden person recently advised me that they are on top of the problem, but your complaints seem to suggest otherwise. I will contact Holden and ask for an update of their investigations.
