I'm thinking of upgrading my 2005 Hyundai Elantra FX and I drove a Hyundai i30 and found it quite satisfactory. But I've been commuting 30km a day for the past eight years and I'm tired of not being able to see what the holdup is when I'm stuck in traffic. So I also test drove the ix35 Trophy 2.0 auto 2WD — it was lovely. With a few extras thrown in, I can buy one for about $30,000. I didn't really want to spend that much but I can. I do like the safety features and the comfort.

You should go for it. It gets The Tick from me and Hyundai has a great reputation for reasonable running costs.
