MY COUSIN is interested in buying a one-owner 1999 Hyundai Excel hatchback manual, but he's not sure if the price is OK. It's done 80,273km and is registered until next August, has a CD player and rear spoiler and the asking price is $7200. Is the price OK and do they have any problems?
THE price is about right for a car of that mileage and registration, which makes it a pretty good buy. The Excel is a good little car with few problems. The engine and gearbox are generally solid and reliable.
