    Futura idles roughly

    MY 1997 Falcon Futura has begun to idle roughly and vibrate when accelerating. I suspect the No. 6 cylinder isn't working properly. There is no change when I remove the spark plug lead. If any other lead is taken out, the engine slows down. Could this be a clogged fuel injector?

    Could be. Try to isolate the problem by swapping components between cylinders and see if the problem follows the component. Swap injectors, spark plugs and leads, one component at a time. Check the compression. It sounds more than a blocked injector.
