My 2013 Ford Focus has the famous transmission issues. I went back four times over these two years. Now they said there is nothing they can do, and basically I need to live with it. I did remember seeing someone from CarsGuide helping an owner get a win-win solution, so I'm seeking some help here. I've called consumer affair, they advised me to talk to Ford first, so I called Ford customer care and they assigned me a case number and said a case manager will contact me within 48 hours. Five days have past and no one has contacted me. I've tried calling the case manager two times a day, he seems always on the phone or busy with something else, I think he is dodging my calls. It's very frustrating that I trusted the brand and not only I get this shitty product, but also this attitude of customer care to solve problem. Anything else I can do? Maybe I could go through customer affair and then VCAT, but it's very time consuming and I believe this would drag into a never ending investigation and waiting. And maybe more cost. So could anyone give me some advice.
Persist in contacting Ford's customer care people and seek a solution. If you give up, there's no chance of getting a resolution. We are prepared to contact Ford on your behalf, but we need your name and details of your car before we can do anything.
