I'M CONSIDERING a 2000 AU Series II Falcon S Pack. The price is $12,000, with 136,000km. The dealer has offered me the car for $9500 cash with no trade-in. I'm getting an NRMA report on this car. How does this price stack up, and what should I be looking for with this model?

THE price is about on the mark for the AU II, so it sounds a good buy. Look for power-steering oil and radiator leaks, and make sure the auto shifts smoothly and there are no noises when you drive it.
