    Does the 2014 Ford Focus Trend have transmission issues?

    I am about to purchase a 2014 LW Ford Focus Trend hatch with the 2.0-litre. I have been advised there is a major problem with the transmission, would you suggest I buy it? Is it possible to repair if transmission fails?

    The dual-clutch automatic transmission in the Focus had issues, so I would urge caution in buying one. It can be fixed if it fails, but it would be costly.
