Does Fairmont ED share Falcon EB problems?

I have read the review of the 1993 Ford Falcon EB and the issues it has. Do these same problems apply to the 1993 Ford Fairmont ED 4.0 automatic sedan?

In essence, yes, the ED wasn't much more than a facelift of the EB, but remember the ED is an old car now and that's the biggest issue with it today.
