My 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne cam standard with 14-inch wheels and 7.74x14 tyres, but I have fitted disc brakes on the front and need 15-inch to clear them. I am trying, as far as possible, to get the car back to standard in terms of speedo accuracy, but also road clearance and quality of ride. What tyre would you recommend to do that?
You could use a 215/70x15, but they are hard to find. The next best is a 205/70x15, which is legal and readily available.
