My grandson bought a used Toyota Corolla at a large Melbourne Toyota dealer (dealer name supplied), but it took a couple of weeks to organize his loan. In that time the dealer changed the tyres. They were new when he did the deal, but they were clearly not new when he picked it up, one tyre in particular had barely any tread at all. After some discussion, the dealer offered him one new tyre. He called at the Toyota dealer in Bendigo where he lives to show him what had happened and, he agreed, like me, that this kind of thing does not help the image of Toyota, or the dealer in particular. Your comments please.
I would go back to the dealer he bought the car from and park it in his front yard until he restores it to the condition in which it was when your grandson bought it. If the dealer has changed the tyres as you allege he has acted fraudulently. The car as delivered was not in the condition it was when your grandson agreed to buy it. If the dealer doesn't come to the party take your case directly to Toyota.
